January 2020 – Period Design New Construction

We have known and worked with Dave on various projects for nearly 20 years …That kitchen looks every bit as new today as it did in 2002. when he manufactured and installed it. …Having had such a positive experience with Ramsay’s team back then, we sought out his services again in our most recent renovation,… in (Purchase) Westchester County, New York.

Our most recent project included Dave designing and manufacturing a traditional English wood paneled library, updated for today’s modern lifestyle ….. (they designed and) created a new room that captured the style and tradition of the original 1917 design (and details), updated for today’s living. As a testament to his team, it’s indiscernible from any of the original work which Carrere and Hastings, the original architects of our home, conceived of more than 100 years ago.

Dave has been extremely collaborative, thoughtful, and cost conscious in working with us. He puts the integrity of project first, next, our budget is treated as though it were his own money, and his own interests come last. He believes in doing the right thing. That is one of the reasons we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and we strongly recommend him to even the most discerning client.

There are many cabinet shops that make a nice product, but where they fall down is on communication and timing. DRC have the best design team we have encountered. Their shop drawings are top notch. This is critical in getting the details right. Their pricing was competitive and the cabinets were delivered when they said they would be.

March 2016 – Traditional Design in Philadelphia Ritz Residence

From concept and design, through fabrication and installation, their work excelled. Click for full review Kass & Associates collaborated with David Ramsay on a very elaborate urban apartment in Philadelphia. High-rise views were balanced with extensive stained and painted millwork that seamlessly meshed with the architecture and interior design our firm designed. David was both professional and pleasant to work with. Each millwork element evolved through articulated shop drawings prepared by David, where architect and woodworker could work out each detail. From concept and design, through fabrication and installation, their work excelled…and the results speak for themselves. We look forward to future opportunities to work with David and his team.
